Hi guys! We are searching for a 6 YEAR-OLD BOY and a 4 YEAR-OLD GIRL for shooting on the hit tv series 'VIKINGS' coming up on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th November. The Requirements are as follows:

VIKINGS - Multi-Ethnic Open Auditions!
There will be an OPEN CASTING for the hit tv series 'VIKINGS' in Dublin on 14th November, looking for people from the following backgrounds: AFRICAN, CARIBBEAN, MIDDLE EASTERN, ASIAN, MEDITERRANEAN, SOUTH AMERICAN
“Vikings”, filmed in Co. Wicklow & Dublin, and shown nationally on RTE 2 and Internationally on the History Channel. The story follows a group of Vikings travelling overseas and discovering new parts of the world. It is set around the time of the late 8th and early 9th Centuries. A crucial part of the story is how the Vikings see and react to the contrasting cultures and nationalities they encounter for the first time when they journey south. We are currently casting for Extras - NOT VIKINGS - but the people they encounter in the regions of the Mediterranean and Africa. We are therefore seeking to cast and employ 100’s of EXTRAS from the following backgrounds… AFRICAN, CARIBBEAN, MIDDLE EASTERN, ASIAN, MEDITERRANEAN, SOUTH AMERICAN.
We will be holding an Open Casting day on Saturday 14th November at Liberty Hall, Eden Quay, Dublin 1 between 10:30am – 4:30pm. The work will be paid and there is no signing on fee or no agency fees included – we pay you directly! The Open Casting is a very quick process. We will give each person an application form when they arrive to fill out. We will then take a photo of each person there. It is very informal. You can come along anytime between 10:30am and 4:30pm, no appointment necessary. The whole process should only take about 20 minutes per person.
Casting is open to children and adults of all ages; Under 16 year olds must be accompanied by a parent or a chaperone. Following the casting, we will phone people to give dates of work and ask that they come to our studio for a costume fitting prior to the day of filming. If people have already attended our open casting earlier this year then there is no need to reapply, as you will be automatically considered. This is a very specificopen casting and you should only come along if you fit the groups denoted above. You must live in Ireland and have a pps number. Boys who speak Irish for TG4 Short
Venom Films and TG4 are searching for two boys aged 8-12 years who are proficient in Irish to play brothers in a short film for TG4 called 'THE WAKE'.
The Wake: A TG4 Short Film which is part of an EU wide program of shorts aimed at 6-10 year olds. The project is executive produced by Venom Films and Filmbase and will shoot on the 9th 10th and 11th of November.

• Some roles (clearly marked above) require additional bike skills - basic wheelies, etc. Please take note of these and apply if comfortable.
• Your kid is not missing any front teeth.
• Bikes with stabilisers are fine for the younger kids!

SET UP: You are talking to your best friend (who has moved away) on Skype on your smartphone. You don't get to see them so much so you want to catch up on all the goss. Snappy, upbeat and positive. The casting team would like to see your emotional range within that.
Also prepare a current pop song, either unaccompanied or with backing music on your smartphone.
• Performers should be available the following day for potential call-backs.

Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015
- A TG4 Exclusive!
TG4 is thrilled to announce that for the FIRST TIME EVER, Ireland will be participating in the JuniorEurovision Song Contest 2015.
The Junior Eurovision song contest is a 2-hour spectacular show, broadcast live in November 2015 from a major European city.
In a TV entertainment series this autumn, TG4 will be selecting a singer or group of singers with an original Irish language song to represent Ireland on the big stage in Europe.
The competition is open to all young people resident in Ireland who are aged between 10-15 on the day of the show.
Auditions will be held at key venues throughout Ireland. We are now looking for applicants who wish to be selected to audition!
